Tell me a story about a lady named history…
August 8th 2004, the day history was born. When they say history repeats itself they’re not exaggerating. Some would say History had a very old soul. “2 going on 20,” her grandmother would say. History was raised by her grandmother since the age of two. That was the age her mother went to prison. Her grandmother and siblings were all she really knew, being that her father left her life at a young age as well. Her grandmother was a great parent to her and her siblings. She had a very old school way of teaching and that didn’t always sit well little history’s mind. As History got older she started to realize that certain things from her childhood affected her. They built the character she is portraying today. One thing she always remembers is being told she talks too much. As a kid this pushed her into a comfort zone. Sometimes no matter how much she has on her mind she’d rather say less, or nothing at all. This also gave her the difficulty of expressing herself which made her very timid. She was normally shying away from people and looking for somewhere to escape. That place she would go to was nature. Now that she’s entering adulthood it’s very hard for her to shake out of that comfort zone. She feels like it’s past due to show the world her powerful mind and soul. She just doesn’t know where to start. She feels tiny in this big world, but one day she made history just like her name. She started trying to branch out into jobs that would push her to talk to people more. She started at a gas station. Talking to customers gave her confidence and self love. The amount of people she made smile made her feel like she mattered in such a big world. She wasn’t always fond of people but she noticed the connections she could easily make with others.
Fast forward a year later and she was progressing in communication. Setting intentions everyday to channel her throat chakra. She would speak clearly about the things she thought about. After setting these intentions and speaking affirmations she started to get compliments on her progress. This increased her confidence even more. This sparked a fire inside History that lead to an epiphany. At that moment she knew she was destined to be great. She was never less than or small when she would see herself in the mirror. She knows that everything has a process, and she’s learned to take it step by step by enjoying the smaller things in life. History is making history.
